How many would like to use dynamic displays and smart boards, surely the answer of almost everyone reading this post is yes, but immediately comes the next question, how much does it cost, is a smart board expensive? If we go to the market, we will find very interesting offers, but we also find big barriers such as price, difficulty of installation and a complex hardware and software structure.

Hewlett-Packard presents a model that seeks to break these barriers and presents a tool that is easy to use, store and install. On top of all this, it is economical. Since February 2, 2011, it launched the HP Pocket Whiteboard, a simple tool that turns any space into an interactive classroom by adapting to any surface with few requirements.

It is a low-cost resource that adapts to any surface, only needs to be connected via USB to a computer, and with the help of a stylus becomes an interactive resource, which allows you to dominate the computer cursor and interact on the Internet and multimedia resources. In addition, HP Pocket Whiteboard provides tools for projecting and annotating Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.

Learning management platforms (LMS) such as Dot LRN (.LRN) have had a great diffusion and use as a pedagogical tool. However, despite their great potential, most of these platforms do not allow easy integration of common services on the Web. The reuse of external resources in LMSs is fundamental to extend the quantity and quality of educational services in LMSs. This article presents a set of criteria and architectural guidelines for the integration of Web resources for e-learning in the .LRN platform. For this purpose, three phases are carried out: first, the possible integration technologies to be used are characterized; second, the Web resources that provide educational services and can be integrated to LMS platforms are analyzed; finally, some architectural aspects of the platform relevant for integration are identified. The main contributions of this article are: a characterization of Web resources and educational services available today on the Web; and the definition of criteria and guidelines for the integration of Web resources to .LRN.

This mode allows people with epilepsy to use the website safely by eliminating the risk of seizures resulting from flashing or flickering animations and risky color schemes.

This mode provides different assistance options to help users with cognitive impairments, such as dyslexia, autism, AVC and others, focus on the essential elements of the website more easily.

This mode helps users with ADHD and neurodevelopmental disorders to read, navigate and focus on the core elements of the website more easily, while significantly reducing distractions.

This mode configures the website to support screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack. A screen reader is software for blind users that is installed on a computer and smartphone, and websites must be compatible with it.

Note: This is a translation of a page of the English language documentation (Docs), which is considered particularly important, and which in its original version is frequently updated. Therefore, it is recommended that you check the original English language page: Git for Administrators.

To get the most out of Git, it is worth the effort to understand its basics – see also the section below. The learning curve can be difficult, especially if you are used to using CVS or Subversion.

DO NOT use alpha, beta, release-candidates or master code for production sites, as they can have significant problems.

The command-line version of Git is discussed here. The graphical clients are little more than wrappers around the command line version, so you should be able to deduce the correct parameters very easily.
