What is an assignment in the Moodle platform?
The Moodle homework activity provides a space where students can submit their work for teachers to grade and provide feedback. This saves paper and is more efficient than Email.
Where do the tasks appear in Moodle?
Clicking on Tasks in the Activities block displays a table with the course tasks. We have the subject, the name of the assignment, the type of assignment, the due date, Sent (indicates the number of assignments submitted) and the grade.
How to write the tasks?
A task must contain a clear verb that is the driver of your action. This verb should be specific in what you need to accomplish and very clear in determining whether or not you did or did not do the task. The task itself, in addition to the verb, should contain a metric, either numeric or binary, that tells you that it has been completed.
What kind of software is moodle
Assignments allow students to submit work to their teacher for grading. The work may be text typed online or uploaded files of any type the teacher’s device can read. Grading may be by simple percentages or custom scales, or more complex rubrics may be used. Students may submit as individuals or in groups.

Student submissions are together on one screen in your course. They may be asked to submit one or more files and/or write text essays. They may submit a team assignment if they prefer to grade their work ‘blind’, which means that the identities of those who have submitted assignments are unknown. Assignments may have end dates and deadlines – which may be extended if necessary.

Si el estudiante sube un archivo PDF que el profesor ha corregido con anotaciones, éste estará disponible en la sección de Retroalimentación. El estudiante puede buscar dentro del documento y filtrar comentarios específicos.
Si la opción «Requerir a los estudiantes que pulsen el botón de envío» está activada dentro de la tarea (antes «Activar botón de envío para calificación» en 2.2), lo que requiere que los estudiantes pulsen un botón de envío final y evita cambios posteriores, sólo se enviará una notificación al pulsar el botón de envío.
Si la opción «Requerir a los estudiantes que pulsen el botón de envío» no está activada y se permite a los estudiantes realizar modificaciones o añadir/eliminar archivos de su envío, este recibo se enviará cada vez que se modifique el archivo, es decir, una vez al añadir el archivo, una vez al añadir un segundo archivo, una vez al eliminar el archivo y una vez al cargar un nuevo archivo.

NEO LMS fue especialmente útil durante la pandemia. Todas las funciones fueron útiles, como la creación y evaluación de tareas, la creación de clases, la creación de clases secundarias, las insignias, la gamificación y mucho más. Siempre estamos haciendo sesiones de formación, y cada vez que pensamos en utilizar diferentes funciones, como el Portafolio, las incluimos en nuestras sesiones de formación. Por ejemplo, hacemos una sesión de formación para profesores antes de que empiece el curso escolar. Luego, si hay solicitudes de reciclaje a mitad de curso, intentamos incluir a los interesados en el programa. Proporcionamos a nuestros usuarios contenidos y herramientas básicas a través del Centro de Ayuda NEO. Hay un icono en el sistema que lleva a su centro de ayuda, y es lo que pedimos a nuestros profesores que utilicen, especialmente durante las sesiones de formación. Si tienen problemas o dudas sobre el uso de alguna de las funciones que ofrece NEO LMS, intentamos hacer hincapié en el uso del icono de ayuda para resolverlos.
La característica más valiosa es la posibilidad de crear lecciones personalizadas. Esto se adapta mejor a nuestros alumnos y estudiantes que ofrecer un contenido o una asignatura que ya está incorporada en el sistema. Esta es una de las principales cosas que busco en un LMS. Cuando creamos clases personalizadas, el concepto de clase infantil es importante. Esto se debe a que tenemos nuestra educación básica, pero cada curso tiene varias secciones. En NEO LMS, una buena característica es que podemos crear una clase hija basada en una clase padre. No necesitamos crear una nueva clase y luego cargar nuevas lecciones o tareas. Cuando creamos tareas y se las damos a los alumnos, el sistema comprueba las respuestas basándose en la información introducida por los profesores. La interfaz de usuario hace que la plataforma sea fácil de usar y gestionar.
